Here
are a few ways you can help others this Christmas season.
Kid’s Shoebox Ministry: Remember to bring in your items for the Kid’s
Christmas Shoeboxes by Sunday, Dec. 18th. Some ideas include mittens, socks, card games,
hats, pens/pencils, craft kits, crayons, toothbrush and paste, bath gel, soap,
slipper socks, puzzles, etc. A box is at the back of the church for these gifts
or you can give them to Mary B. or Patti P.

The Missional Church
A brief explanation of what it means to be a "missional church"

We have a program specifically tailored to teenage girls that find themselves pregnant. What to do, where to go for help and advice, and general assistance through there pregnancy.
Teen moms is an outreach serving teen moms and dads and their children. We strive to support, advocate and enable young parents to finish their studies in high school. We collaborate with Help Me Grow and Head Start as well as many other wrap around services to help achieve success for our next generation.
Veteran Outreach – The
Northeast Ohio Mission Council of which we are a member of decided to donate to
Wade Park VA Hospital for an outreach project. We are collecting – women’s
nightgowns (l, XL, 1X), shower shoes; slipper socks; and sugar free &
regular bags of hard candy. There is a box in the back of the church to put
these items. Our own council members – Mary Bowins and Jim Santiago have more
information about this. Christ Church is
one of 12 churches in our Diocesan Mission area. We will also make a few
fleece “prayer knot” blankets for the vets.
If you knit or crochet and would like to make a 4’ x 5’ throw, it would
be greatly appreciated.
The Geneva Food Pantry is in

non-perishable items to church each Sunday. Did you know that Carol Cauffield puts a label on each
